Stayed tuned...can you guess where we are moving to next?

I will surely keep you all updated. I plan to write about our next move (happening this June) very soon! ;-)

In the mean time, here is a good article:

Traveling Europe

Oh where to start. Seriously. I should have started this blog back in 2007 lol. So now all is left is to summarize, summarize. But really, we did keep a good picture diary so here are some of the most memorable trips :-) We even got videos! You see,  my man and I share a lot of similar interests, one has to do with technology, as we tend to be gadget geeks and love making short videos...so you are lucky, you don't have to read, just watch!

Spain, ah we love Spain! We kept going back for more, a few times! The food, the people, the beaches! Oh and let's not forget the parties :)) The days pretty much looked like this: Breakfast, beach, party, sleep, breakfast, beach, party, sleep oh, and sleep some more on the beach....Okay, my first thoughts were about Ibiza, but we did also get to tour interesting places such as Barcelona, Alicante, and Majorca. But when it comes to Majorka, we did end up escaping the island, which is conveniently located beside Ibiza. Hey, after a few days of touring and beaching, the amount of German retirees couldn't keep any young resless couple away from Ibiza next door! I confess, we escaped one night, it was only a few hour ferry ride! ;0) That was our first time there back in 2010, and after that one day, we were sure we'd be back for more, and we did just that in 2012.

Now for the pictures & videos! Enjoy =)

I met my love...and we sort of eloped?

Well not quite. I met my love in Canada, and as I always say, with a cherry on top! Not only was he Polish-Canadian like me, but it turned out that he too was infused with the travel bug when we was 7. Not too far off from me, I got it when I was 10. We had pretty much the exact same backgrounds growing up. He too wanted to see and live in new places. We got a chance, he applied to medical school in Poland, and voila, we were back where we started as kids. But wait a minute, this wasn't any ordinary Poland as we knew it. Things have changed, this wasn't the country we left as kids. Things were better. This was central Europe. We love Europe.

We met in 2007 in Ottawa, Canada. Sparks flew, I can prove it, I swear! ;-) Check out the picture of the night we met in person, I have an aura around me! See, I did not lie. Long story short, we got engaged in 2008, bought a house, flipped it for a profit and yup, left for Poland. In 2009 we got married north of Poznan, where we lived, in a small renewed 1800's villa in a place called Murowana Goslina. I got to ride up on a black stallion to marry the man on my dreams!

Huh? Yup, my 1st entry! =D

Yeah....so I think it's time to start blogging. No, not because everyone else is doing it, but because I actually have some interesting stories I could be telling. Ok.....perhaps I lied just a little....I recently did get re-inspired by my blogging brother Martin (he is travelling Thailand right now), but also by the family chronicles my grandparents started during the WW in the 1930s. Wow, I must say, what a great history lesson and insight on my ancestry! I'd like to do the same. I travel often, move often, my live changes and well, I feel it is time to start documenting it somewhere. I did keep a journal of my 2005 travels in Chile and Peru, and gosh, it's somewhere in Canada, in a box getting unappreciated, and perhaps the text has already started fading?! Ok, now I got all worried, I am making a decision, a plan for the future perhaps, to transcribe those stories, page by page...hmm wandering if I'll have to skip the embarrassing stories or not....But I promise to make a separate entry just for that trip. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy the journeys I am about to undertake (and some I have already taken). I hope to instil some insight into what you already "believe" and "think" you know about these places, people and experiences. So, hey, why not start documenting!?

Why is she travelling so much?

Did I get you a tad curious with that catchy title? I tried...

Well, it does go way far back in to the 1980s, but I'll spare you the details. To make a long story short, I think the travel bug got infused into me when I was 10 years of age. Not because I asked for it (why, I had no clue, I lived in a small village), but because my late mom Anna Michalowska, was brave enough to change counties, to ensure a better and brighter future for our whole family. I must say, she did it, and I am so proud of her every single day. We lived in Canada since the early 1990s, both my parents, my 2 big brothers and I.

As a young adult, I loved to travel and still did so to many amazing places. To name a few, between the years of 2001 and 2007 I have been fortunate enough to sink my feet into the sands of the Dominican Republic, rappel the waterfalls of Costa Rica, live a few months in Florida, experience a 7 day cruise of the Easter Caribbean islands, climb volcano Vallarica in Chile with my best friend (see pic below), see Machu Picchu in Peru (see pic below), and do a lot of local Canadian trips such as visiting my mom's brother in Vancouver. I am sure I forgot a few other places. If you think this was a lot of travelling already, well you are wrong. In 2006 it just got crazier from then on. I landed an amazing job, where a year later, I started to work from home and travel to my work sites for clinical research. This mainly included the Easter region of Canada and USA. Just to give you the scope of the activities I was part of,  I was flying every week to a new location, NYCNYC (yes NYC is twice on purpose ok? I have 2 albums to share ;-) ChicagoSalt Lake City UtahWashington, Sarasota Florida, Philadelphia...omg, I once kept a list of all these locations, but I think the list won, I couldn't keep up.  List 1, Ania 0.
